[26 Aug 2006|10:52pm] [ mood | lonely ] [ music | The Early November "I want to hear you sad" ] everything is so different now. i am so silly. one week ago, i couldn't wait to get the fuck out of michigan, and now, i wish i was there. its funny how that works isnt it? i moved into school on sunday. im still going to bowling green, if you didnt know. i live in the rodgers quadrangle, still on campus. i was supposed to room with my best friend matt marshall, but five days before we were supposed to move in to school, he decided that bowling green just wasn't for him. thats all fine and good, i just really wish he would have made that decision 6 months earlier, so that i could room with a different one of my friends. now, since he pulled out so late, i have a random roomate who i do not even know. his name is dan. his friends call him "the wandering jew". i try to make conversation with him and to be his friend, but he doesnt seem to want to be friends. hes kinda a douchebag. bowling green is different now. most of my friends from last year either failed out or transfered to different school. for some reason, this year i am being extremely shy. maybe it's because i don't have matt here to make me feel more comfortable, i dont know. so far, i am having a hard time making new friends. partially because i don't like to party, and i don't understand why that is all college kids want to do. what ever happened to hanging out and watching a movie or playing video games? i guess im stuck in the 7th grade. i also do not understand why everyone is obsessed with that beer pong game. the god damn game makes no sense. you throw it in the cup and if you make it, the other person has to drink. now i'm straight edge so i dont drink, but correct me if im wrong, isn't the point of playing beer pong to get drunk? so why play and make shots? it makes no sense to me. anyhow, i digress. i understand that one can go to a party without drinking, i just feel that they are lame in general. i probably wouldn't be so lonely right now if i had a girlfriend, which brings me to my next subject.... so i like this girl here in bowling green named erin. i met her in february, and i have liked her ever since. she lives in cleveland, so we didn't hang out at all over the summer, but we talked on the phone pretty much every night, and i was under the impression that we would date once we got to school. last night, i pretty much asked her out, i mean i was hinting at it but i didnt say it, and she said shes not sure what she wants to do. she says it would be unfair to date me right now, because she claims she likes me, but she likes other guys too. she is the only girl i like right now, and i am saddened that she doesn't want to date at this point in time. now that i think about it though, she kind of treats me like shit. so far, the only time we hang out is late at night, after she has already hung out with her friends/gotten drunk, or in between her classes (because she lives off campus, and i live on campus, so she doesn't want to walk all the way back to her apartment). if she really did like me as much as she claims, wouldn't she make some time for me, before midnight? this is partially my fault, because by the time she calls, i am so bored and so lonely that it is too hard for me to say no to her. it is nice to have her company, and i feel great when im around her. i have never confronted her about any of this, although i should. sometimes, i honestly feel used. so needless to say, i am very confused about her. should i keep liking her as much as i do? or am i silly, to do so, because nothing will ever happen with her. i guess i should like other girls, but i dont really have any interest in doing so currently. anyways sorry for the long entry that took up a large amount of your friends page, im just bored/lonely so i decided to write. i have not written here in a long time, but i think i may start (unless i get lazy :oP). if you read all of this, thanks and dont forget to holla at yo boy. 7 nightmare stoppednightmares stopped | pull the trigger

WINGS GAME [21 Dec 2005|04:06am] today, me, matt, megan, and jeremy all went to the red wings game. megans dad gave her tickets, and she took us as an early christmas present. it was very nice of her. the game was amazing! we played the blue jackets. sure, they're a bone team, but i was excited to see rick nash and sergei federov play. our seats were god like, 10 rows up from the glass. we played the blue jackets. sure, they're a bone team, but i was excited to see rick nash and sergei fedorov play. everytime federov touched the puck we booed him and it was hilarious. there was also several "fire millen" chants that went on and those were a riot. i also saw chris brazen there and that was cool he sat w/ us for a ilttle while. the best part about the game was that it went into a shootout! it was the first shootout in detriot red wings history. it was so exciting. datsyuk is truly amazing and his goal was nuts. nash was also godlike, although he did not score. anyhow it was a great night and im tired so imgoing 2 sleep now. nite. 2 nightmare stoppednightmares stopped | pull the trigger

[16 Nov 2005|10:31am] [ mood | cold as balls ] [ music | From First To Last ] soooo i think i have been lied to all my life. chicago "the windy city." thats a damn lie. bowling green is the windy city. the wind speeds are at like 3000 mph right now its crazy, and really effing cold. anyways last night was fun, i watched the final table of world series of poker w/ my friends matt, megan, jared, and my RA tom. jareds away message puts it perfectly. You know your addicted to poker when your watching the WSOP, its the final 2 at the final table 10 mins. left, when the fire alarm goes off. We look at each other, and decided to stay there turns out that the R.A.'s were going room to room and checking to see if everyone goes out. We didnt, so we got written up. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. hahahaha. the funniest part was as soon as my ra tom heard the knock on the door, he jumps into matts closet because he would have been fired if the other ras would have seen him in our room skipping out on the fire alarm. downside to this though-a fire safety class and possibly $100 fine. gay. but it was worth it. 2 nightmare stoppednightmares stopped | pull the trigger
